Verdelle Smith - In My Room, 1966

Just got back from a quick trip to south FLA, and picked up a handful of records from the local thrifts (and my fave spot, Yesterday & Today Records). Saved from the dust bins for a measly quarter, this double LP of Capitol soul is overflowing with gems, particularly this track that oozes with a spooky kind of heartbreak.
